In short: Blackjack.ooo is a free, play-money game. We store as little as possible. Your chips, stats and settings live in your own browser, not on our servers. We do not take payment data because there is no real money. We do not sell your data to anyone.

This policy explains what information Blackjack.ooo collects, why we collect it and what we do with it. We tried to keep it short and clear. If anything is confusing, please contact us and we will explain.

What we store in your browser

Most of your data never leaves your own device. We use your browser's localStorage - a small, private space that only this site can read - to remember things like:

  • Your play-money chip balance.
  • Your game stats, such as hands played, wins and best streaks.
  • Your settings, like table color, card style and whether sounds are on.

This information stays on your device. It is not personal information about you, and we cannot see it. If you clear your browser data, it is gone and your chips reset to the starting stack.

If you create an optional account

You do not need an account to play. If you choose to make one so your chips and stats follow you across devices, we store only what is needed to run it:

  • Your email address, used to sign in and to reach you if needed.
  • A username, which may appear on the public leaderboard.
  • A secure, scrambled version of your password. We never store the password itself.
  • Your saved chips, stats and settings, so they sync between devices.

You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by using the contact form.

No payment data - because there is no real money

Blackjack.ooo is play-money only. You cannot deposit money, you cannot cash out, and everything is free. Because of that, we never collect card numbers, bank details or any payment information. There is simply nothing to pay for.

Cookies we use

We keep cookies to the bare minimum needed to make the site work safely:

  • A session cookie, so the site can remember you are signed in while you move between pages.
  • A CSRF cookie, a security token that protects forms like sign-in and the contact form from misuse.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. For the full details, see our cookie policy.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone. We do not build advertising profiles about you. The small amount of data we hold is used only to run the game and, if you have an account, to keep you signed in and synced.

Children and a gambling theme

Although no real money is involved, blackjack has a gambling theme. For that reason we recommend the site for players aged 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect data from young children.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will change the effective date at the top of the page. Because we store so little, changes should be rare. Please check back now and then.
